The Kete Ora Trust invests in, and supports education and research into biodynamic, organic and sustainable land use in Aotearoa New Zealand. We support a range of projects such as educational workshops, working bees on farms, research projects, speaker engagements - we will consider any funding request that supports our aims.
Kete Ora Trust is a charity and can give funds only for charitable purposes. If the application is successful, funds are provided to the fund holder who may pay individuals or organisation for the work carried out as part of the project.
The following key criteria will be considered:
- The project will contribute to the spreading of existing knowledge and/or to new knowledge relevant to biodynamic, organic and sustainable land management for agriculture, horticulture, forestry and animal husbandry in New Zealand.
- Projects for consumer education will be considered so long as they are of a charitable nature, i.e. not commercial.
- The results of activities funded will be provided free or at modest cost so that access by the general public is not restricted by cost.
- The trustees encourage applicants to consider other sources of funding in conjunction with Kete Ora trust funds.
Please read the full funding criteria (PDF, 170.72 kB) document prior to making an application.
